What's your favorite summer flower?

I love geraniums as the require little work, and can survive hot summers. My all time favorite flower is the poppy, especially the ones my granny grew =D

Lavendar! Smells great and no hassle. But it would be hard to pick a favorite. I like so many of them and I do love geraniums just not the deadheading. My Mom's favorite is portulaca or spanish rose. They are so pretty but talk about deadheading!

Sunflowers, nasturtiums, geraniums, marigolds, daisies, zinnias...too many! I really like them all. Hard to imagine summer here though. It's barely 40 degrees in CT today. I have filled the window boxes with pansies--and they love this cold weather.

What a cute bunny banner at the top of your blog!
